FIRE-RESISTANT HEARTH RUG – SMALL HALF MOON
The rug seems to protect my underlying carpet from any hot embers, etc., that may fall out of my wood burner so, in that respect, it works very well. However, it does mark easily with coal dust, etc., and it is virtually impossible to clean. As a result, the rug looks marked and stained which spoils to overall effect.

OK I expect it works well but it really looks like an outside mat...and cream is not the best colour when you have charcoal stains on it.....what not a choice of colours?

It does what we required.
It was bought to protect the carpet in front of a woodburning stove it does this quite well but was a bit pricy for what it is.

Piece of mind
I purchased this rug after having new carpet fitted. I have a woodburning stove and didnt want to get marks and burns on my new carpet from the fire. Im so glad I purchased it. I thought it was expensive but when you consider the price of carpeting a whole room its good value for money. The service I received from Scotts of Stow was exemplary. I received the rug super quick. To say I am pleased is an understatement. Thank you.
