Technically very efficient, and of smart design. The spoken weights are very clear. However, if the stones pounds and ounces version is used, the talking scale does not concur with what it states in the visible panel. Whilst it will state how many stones and pounds perfectly correctly, it does not follow the ounces correctly. For instance, the lit panel might show three eighths of a pound which is 6 ounces - but the speaker will contradict that by announcing that that is three quarters of a pound! (12 ounces). A small matter, maybe, but if you need a correct weight for any reason,, the speaker element is not programmed to do that the moment, which is disappointing.
