Meticulously crafted from solid timber, our high quality Foxcote spindle back chairs are perfect for the kitchen or dining room for a smart country look. This pair of chairs can also be used as an addition to our matching Foxcote Table set, giving you extra seating for larger gatherings.

In early November 2023, we purchased a Foxcote Kitchen Table and 4 matching Chairs from Scotts of Stow. After overcoming the initial confusion of not getting any E-mail confirmation of our on-line order and as to whether the table came with 2 chair or none, we receive these items in December.

Although we liked the design and colour of the table and chairs, that is, of course why we bought them, our view is that the construction and finish were of poor quality.

The Table : The peg on one side of the table does not fit properly, where the extended table is not level. The peg is forever coming out so that the table leaf, (extension), collapses suddenly without warning. We have tried to cure this with a 2nd wooden wedge, but with very limited success.

The Chairs : Of the 4 chairs delivered 2 had dents in the wooden seat, presumably as a result of the packing process, that had gone down to the level of the bare wood. We did try ourselves to address this in one of the chairs but without success.

Due to the length of time to receive these items and lack of confidence that any replacement chairs would not also be damaged, we decided to keep the goods. All in all, a poor buy, not worth the money.

We are very pleased with these chairs, they were very easy to assemble with the instructions and tools provided. Overall this is a good product.

Womens Size Guide
A
Bust. Measure under your arms,
across the fullest part of your bust,
don't pull the measuring tape too tightly.
B
Waist. Measure your natural waistline (above your belly button & below your rib cage). Find by bending slightly to the side.
C
Hips. Measure snuggly around the fullest part of your bottom. Remember to place your feet together before measuring.
