The bell did not have instructions or fixing screws & it was very fiddly to put together & the holes in the cast iron ringer were too small for the hook to go through - this was s manufacturing fault - fortunately I just happened to have some mini rattail files & was able to file the holes sufficiently to enter the hook & the rope pull. The hook screwed the bell onto the bracket but the surface of the bracket was not flat thus a good connection impossible & it will rust the hook. I am at least glad I got it at a sale price & not full price but it is badly made in China. It also took a long time to arrive via Evri who dumped it in my wheelie bin beside main road half a mile from my house & the parcel bin beside my front door which I asked them to use was not used. Fortunate it was day after the bins emptied! I was surprised at the poor quality of this item from this company. Since you use Evri I will not be ordering again as this is not first time they left a parcel beside the main road - previously it was just left on the top of the wheelie bin in full view & open to the weather.
